area of responsibility. In addition to base life support and facility and equipment maintenance and operations, KBR provides food services and other quality of life support. Our team was able to meet an accelerated transition timeline and ensure these mission essential sites ran without disruption throughout the contract transition. Job Summary Under limited supervision, Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and performs emergency/preventive maintenance. Project general requirements include but are not limited to; maintenance and repair of freezer and refrigeration units, food service equipment, appliances, fitness equipment, HVAC equipment, testing and balancing, corrosion control, floor coverings, roof systems, painting, finishes, fences and gates, general facility maintenance. Determines replacement parts as needed. Inspect, clean, and maintain commercial kitchen hood and duct exhaust systems. Maintain, and repair the site's mechanical locks. Repair, maintain, fabricate, and install all base signage. Inspect fire extinguishers and make repair/replacement recommendations. Roles and Responsibilities

+ Performs installation, operation, maintenance, repairs, and disposal of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration ( HVAC /R) systems.

+ Must know and be able to apply the fundamentals of HVAC /R equipment and troubleshooting techniques, and environmental regulations for fuels, refrigerants, and hazardous materials.

+ May explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities.

+ Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various cleanup activities.

+ Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.

+ Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Additional general duties

+ Acts as Maximo and Hazardous Material ( HAZMAT ) and Hazardous Waste ( HAZWASTE ) key person.
