Our team is committed to delivering efficient, high-quality service that keeps home systems running smoothly and customers comfortable year-round. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead and support our residential HVAC installation department. This role is ideal for a strong HVAC professional and people leader who understands residential installation, knows how to develop high-performing teams, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and an excellent customer experience. What You 'll
Do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential HVAC lead installers and install helpers Oversee daily HVAC installation operations and ensure jobs are properly staffed, prepared, and completed on schedule Monitor installation quality and ensure work meets company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable local codes Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams when complex issues or challenges arise Partner with dispatch, sales, warehouse, and operations teams to coordinate installation schedules, materials, equipment, and job requirements Review job performance, callbacks, customer concerns, and installation issues and implement solutions to improve department results Hold team members accountable to performance, safety, attendance, quality, and customer service expectations Ensure proper documentation and communication are maintained throughout the installation process Identify opportunities to improve department efficiency, productivity, job quality, and overall customer satisfaction Promote a positive, professional, safety-focused culture within the HVAC installation department
What You Bring:
3 + years residential HVAC installation experience as a lead or relevant comparable experience Extensive residential HVAC installation experience combined with proven leadership or management experience EPA Certification Strong working knowledge of residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and complete system installations Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold team members accountable Strong understanding of installation best practices, safety requirements, manufacturer specifications, and residential HVAC codes Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges and provide technical direction to field teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities, and team members Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality workmanship and service Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced home services environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to successfully complete our pre-employment screening process including interviews, background checks, and drug screening
