HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

HVAC Service Technician | $28.00 - $40.00 per hour Depending on experience and union card
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, | 7:00am to 4:00pm | occasional overtime
Job Duties:
Dispatched to calls by our expertly trained in-house dispatcher Service, maintenance, repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems Consulting customers on repair or replacement options as needed Educating customers on new technology and IAQ accessories Providing the customer with a high-quality experience Testing and balancing systems Doornbos Heating and Air Conditioning | Alsip IL For more than 97 years, we have been a trusted leader in heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality services throughout Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service and repair experience EPA Universal Certification Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and service a variety of HVAC systems and equipment Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach Knowledge of airflow management and air balancing principles Ability to assess customer concerns, explain repair options, and recommend cost-effective solutions that meet both customer and company needs Completion of an accredited HVAC technical or trade school program preferred Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
