Position Type:

Temp-to-Hire Bear Staffing is seeking a Reefer Technician / HVAC Service Technician for one of the nation's leading providers of modular buildings and portable storage solutions. This position is ideal for candidates with experience working on refrigerated trailers (reefers), transport refrigeration units, HVAC systems, diesel-powered cooling equipment, or related mechanical systems. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration and climate control equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Responsibilities:

\nDiagnose and repair transport refrigeration and HVAC equipment.\nPerform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and cooling units.\nTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.\nInspect, test, and repair components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, belts, hoses, motors, and electrical systems.\nPerform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, and system charging when required.\nComplete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation.\nMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.\nFollow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations.\nCommunicate repair findings and recommendations to supervisors and customers.\n

Qualifications:
