Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an A/C Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing HVAC systems across diverse property environments. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and install a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will help keep buildings running smoothly while providing exceptional service to clients and stakeholders. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls to prevent breakdowns Install new HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration units, and related mechanical components following HVAC design specifications Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in wiring or control circuits Repair or replace mechanical parts such as motors, compressors, valves, welders, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data Collaborate with property management teams on building maintenance projects involving HVAC/R systems and plumbing Requirements Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC/R systems Service technician experience working with mechanical systems repair and building automation systems Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring, HVAC controls, refrigeration piping, and plumbing layouts Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC design, ammonia refrigeration (preferred), boilers, and appliance repair Ability to perform electrical diagnostics using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC or refrigeration are a plus Experience operating field service equipment including lifts, welding tools, and other mechanical repair devices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for driver requirements (if applicable) Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and building automation controls is highly desirable Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us in delivering top-tier maintenance services that keep buildings comfortable and operational!
