Role Description The HVAC-R / Hot Side Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Biloxi, MS. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC-R and hot side equipment, including refrigeration units, cooking equipment, and related mechanical systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, and completing accurate service documentation. The technician will travel to customer locations, communicate findings and recommendations clearly, and ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch and team members, maintaining tools and vehicles in good working order, and providing courteous, responsive service to all customers. Qualifications Strong HVAC and HVAC-R skills, including installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Experience with hot side equipment and plumbing skills for commercial kitchens and related mechanical systems. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC-R and hot side equipment. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally at customer sites. Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices, including scheduled inspections, cleaning, and testing of equipment. Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC-R or a related field; EPA certification and manufacturer training are beneficial. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and to maintain accurate service records. Valid driver's license, reliable attendance, and ability to work on-site in the MC Gulf Coast region, including occasional overtime or emergency calls.
