About the Role As a Field HVAC Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for ensuring the comfort and climate control of our clients' homes. You will leverage your deep expertise in HVAC troubleshooting and system diagnostics to deliver high-quality repairs and installations that improve overall system efficiency. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance and complex repairs to optimize the longevity and performance of residential climate control systems. Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical failures in HVAC equipment. Manage the end-to-end installation of new heating and cooling units, ensuring all work meets rigorous industry standards. Drive customer satisfaction by providing clear, professional explanations of technical issues and recommended solutions. Document service history and technical findings to maintain precise records of system health and maintenance cycles. Contribute to team success by sharing technical insights and collaborating on complex service challenges to improve operational outcomes. Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and regulatory compliance during all field operations. Required Skills Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in residential HVAC service and repair. Current EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical system issues. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience. Proficiency with industry-standard diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Preferred Skills Current MA Oil Burner License or relevant state-specific certifications. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and technical professional development. Experience with high-efficiency HVAC system integration and modern smart-home controls.
