In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced mechanical and electrical systems, providing essential comfort solutions for our clients while advancing your technical career. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components and wiring within HVAC equipment Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation and extend equipment lifespan Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems related to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic techniques Repair plumbing components associated with HVAC systems such as condensate drains and water lines Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and parts used for each job Experience Proven construction experience with installation or maintenance of HVAC or related mechanical systems Service technician experience working on HVAC/R equipment in commercial or residential settings Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration principles Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques Knowledge of plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and boiler operation is preferred Familiarity with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for troubleshooting electrical issues Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in HVAC design or appliance repair are a plus Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently while performing mechanical repairs or installations Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism during field service calls Join our team to become a vital part of delivering reliable climate control solutions!
