Lead HVAC Service Technician Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning Nassau County, Long Island, NY Full-Time | $70,000-$80,000 Base

+ Profit Sharing About the Opportunity Aire Serv is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Service Technician to join our growing operation serving Nassau County, Long Island. This is an opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional who wants more than simply being another technician on a large team. As one of the first technicians in our operation, you will play an important role in helping establish our service standards, customer experience, and reputation in the local community. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose and solve problems independently, communicates professionally with customers, and believes in doing the job correctly. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems Troubleshoot heating and cooling equipment and identify appropriate repair solutions Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Clearly explain system conditions, repair options, upgrades, and recommendations to customers Identify legitimate opportunities for additional repairs, system improvements, replacements, and other customer needs Complete service documentation accurately Maintain an organized and professional company vehicle Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices Maintain a clean and professional work area Deliver a consistently high level of customer service Work directly with the owner as the business establishes and improves its field operations What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience required; 5+ years preferred Light commercial HVAC experience preferred Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to independently run service calls from diagnosis through repair EPA Section 608 certification Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Working knowledge of heating and air-conditioning systems Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residential and commercial customers Comfortable presenting repair, replacement, and upgrade options to customers Strong attention to detail and workmanship Dependable, punctual, and organized Comfortable using mobile applications and digital service software Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with HVAC service work Experience with boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, mini-splits, central air-conditioning systems, hydronic heating systems, rooftop units, and other light commercial equipment is highly valued.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity Base Salary:

$70,000-$80,000 per year , depending on experience, certifications, technical ability, and overall qualifications.
