QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1 year of experience servicing, repairing, and installing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment recommended.
Active EPA Universal Certification
Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs safely, climb extension ladders, work on commercial rooftops, and work in extreme temperatures or tight spaces.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Observe all store rules and company policies.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems and equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Repair or replace defective wiring, relays, contactors, and motors.
Proficiency with HVAC/R tools, including manifold gauges, multimeters, vacuum pumps, and recovery machines.
Perform comprehensive scheduled maintenance on commercial systems to ensure maximum efficiency, prevent breakdowns, and extend equipment lifespan.
Assist in or lead the installation, replacement, and commissioning of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Maintain accurate, real-time records of all maintenance, repairs, parts used, and labor hours in the company's field service software.
Safely handle, recover, and charge refrigerants in strict compliance with EPA regulations and accurately documented in the company' field service software.
Accurately document cylinder inventory, purchases, usage, and returns.
Ensure compliance with all state, county, local, EPA, OSHA, and other federal regulations, codes, and laws with all work performed.
Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment status, required repairs, and timeline estimates while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Observe all policies and guidelines regarding procurement of parts and equipment.
Provide back up support to facility maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager.
Any other duties assigned by management.
