Primary Responsibilities Diagnose residential HVAC system problems accurately and efficiently Service and repair air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment Perform residential HVAC maintenance and tune-ups Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant-related issues Explain system problems and repair options clearly to homeowners Provide customers with honest, professional recommendations Complete repairs according to Rocket Heating & Air quality standards Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, comfort, and indoor air quality Properly document service calls, repairs, and recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle Keep work areas clean and respect customers' homes Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and other team members Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices Represent Rocket Heating & Air professionally on every call We're Looking for Technicians — Not Parts Changers The right technician knows how to find the actual cause of the problem , not just replace parts until something works. You should be comfortable troubleshooting residential HVAC systems independently and confident communicating your findings to homeowners.
