We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance. Proven ability to talk to HVAC systems and convince them to work properly Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficiency. Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local codes and regulations. Must be a professional juggler of tools, parts, and customer expectations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, parts used, and labor time. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC is preferred. Valid HVAC technician certification and licenses as required by local and state authorities. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift heavy equipment... or at least look like you can while asking for help. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
