1 Now Hiring a Production Technician II for Final Assembly at our manufacturing plant in Cranberry Township, PA. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to: Assemble and test (including set-up), moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Transfer material to shipping dock. Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework. Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system. Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures. Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices. Perform standard software operations.
Qualifications Requirements:
Must attain ability to perform complex SAP transactions. Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance. Work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day. Regularly perform work that requires magnification. Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness. Use power and hand tools, custom tooling and operate a pallet jack. Effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments. Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize and organize work. Work in a team environment. Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area. Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts. Wear
ANSI Z87
approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 6 months manufacturing or similar experience.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Past soldering experience. Able to use excel and understand how to interpret numbers / decimals.
