The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems. HVAC duct installation Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns regarding HVAC performance. Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs. Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as necessary. Demonstrate proficiency in appliance repair related to HVAC systems. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations performed. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a strong focus on HVAC/R systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC equipment effectively. Proficiency in welding techniques as they relate to HVAC installations and repairs is preferred. Familiarity with design principles for efficient heating and cooling systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record may be required for field service responsibilities.
