In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical and electrical systems across commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults. Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot system problems and implement effective solutions. Conduct equipment troubleshooting for HVAC systems, ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to enhance longevity and efficiency of HVAC equipment. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to execute repairs with precision and safety. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related construction fields with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Skilled in HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance with familiarity in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls. Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus; valid EPA certification is required for refrigerant handling. Strong troubleshooting skills using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters; experience with equipment troubleshooting is essential. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, mechanical systems repair, and electrical diagnostics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
