Position Overview We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installer to set up, connect, and test heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work in residential or commercial buildings to ensure systems run safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Read and follow blueprints and building plans. Connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, and ductwork. Test installed systems for proper performance and safety. Use hand and power tools safely on every job. Explain system operations and basic maintenance to customers. Remove and dispose of old equipment properly.
EQUIPMENT & BRANDS YOU'LL WORK WITH
Equipment types: Split systems, rooftop units (RTUs), heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ventilation systems.
Core Brands:
Daikin, Mitsubishi, Lennox, Greenheck, Trane, Carrier, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Technical & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Completion of an HVAC certification program or technical school. 2+ years of hands-on installation experience. Strong knowledge of local HVAC codes and safety rules. Proficient in using specialized HVAC hand tools, meters, and torches. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces.
Physical Demands Lifting:
Ability to safely lift, move, and carry equipment or tools weighing at least 50 lbs unassisted .
Mobility:
Able to safely climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders , and scaffolding to access rooftops and elevated units.
Stamina & Flexibility:
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and maneuver comfortably within tight spaces, crawl spaces, or attics.
Environment:
Comfortable working outdoors and adapting to varying Pacific Northwest weather conditions.
