Duties Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on cars and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components of vehicles and industrial equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs and fabrication tasks. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist with equipment assembly, installation, and preventive maintenance to maximize operational uptime. Support vehicle maintenance for truck drivers by performing tire service, alignment checks, air brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and HVAC system servicing. Qualifications Proven experience working as a mechanic Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diesel engine repair. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex machinery. Skilled in welding, fabrication, use of power tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certifications in automotive are highly desirable; relevant licenses such as forklift certification are a plus.
