We're currently seeking skilled and reliable Elevator Mechanics to join our growing team in Albany, GA; and Columbus, GA. Position Summary As an Elevator Mechanic, you will perform hands-on work involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevator and lift systems . This role may include both construction (new installation), service (maintenance and repair), and modernization tasks, depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities Install elevator systems, hoistways, and related components in new construction settings Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial and residential elevators Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues Respond to service calls and perform emergency repairs as needed Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed Follow company and industry safety procedures and guidelines (OSHA, local codes, etc.) Work independently or as part of a crew on job sites Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and team members Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an elevator mechanic or in a related trade (electrical, mechanical, or HVAC) Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Must be physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in tight spaces Willingness to work at heights and in various environmental conditions Elevator mechanic license or certification preferred (if required by your state) What We Offer Competitive pay and overtime opportunities Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and specialized training A strong team-oriented culture with a focus on safety and craftsmanship Interested applicants should submit a resume or brief work history.
