  • Temp-to-hire, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled IBG Operator for third shift to join our manufacturing team.
This role involves operating and maintaining industrial machinery within the Integrated Business Group (IBG) production line, ensuring efficient and precise assembly of components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with technical drawings, and experience working with various hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operate industrial machinery and equipment during the third shift, adhering strictly to safety protocols and operational procedures. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards. Perform mechanical assembly tasks utilizing hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools. Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, machining, and fabricating parts as required. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate assembly and fabrication processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while handling manual materials safely using proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance on machinery. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when necessary to move materials or finished products. Follow all safety guidelines related to PPE use, manual handling, welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality. Qualifications Proven experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, machining, welding, soldering, or related manufacturing tasks. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints. Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts is preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to PPE protocols. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Prior experience in manufacturing environments or warehouse settings is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout production processes. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations during the third shift.
