Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will serve as a critical partner in maintaining operational excellence by ensuring machinery runs at peak performance. You will apply your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to resolve complex technical challenges, directly impacting our facility's output and reliability. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure maximum equipment availability and production flow. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions, providing rapid repairs to minimize operational disruptions. Drive continuous improvement by identifying equipment vulnerabilities and proposing long-term technical solutions. Partner with production teams to optimize machine efficiency and ensure all systems meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace that promotes safety and operational excellence. Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment health status to leadership to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant maintenance. Demonstrated ability to safely navigate and work around complex mechanical systems and industrial machinery. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving climbing or operating heavy equipment. Preferred Skills Technical certification, apprenticeship completion, or an associate degree in a relevant engineering or maintenance discipline. Advanced troubleshooting proficiency with PLCs, Allen-Bradley systems, industrial controls, or welding techniques. Prior experience operating industrial lifts, such as forklifts or scissor lifts, in a professional setting.
