As a Production Mechanic, you'll play a hands-on role in assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting the mechanical systems that keep rail vehicles moving safely and reliably. What You'll Do:

Assemble, disassemble, install, and align mechanical components and subsystems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and torque specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly and sequencing. Use hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively. Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality, proper fit, functionality, and compliance with specifications; identify and report defects or discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and communicate production or quality issues to supervisors. Keep work areas organized and ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of tools, parts, and materials. Follow all quality, safety, OSHA, and company procedures while contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.
