Monday-Friday, 2:45 PM-10:45 PM | Overtime as Required Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Bedford Heights, Ohio facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled industrial maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment, with electrical troubleshooting and steel industry experience being especially valuable. Candidates with strong backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, lift truck maintenance, welding, or fabrication are encouraged to apply. Starting pay is $26.00/hour, with the opportunity for higher compensation based on skills, experience, and qualifications. We are open to reviewing experienced candidates based on current market conditions.

Experienced Candidates:
Higher pay may be considered based on qualifications and industry experience What You'll Do Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment. Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize production downtime. Dismantle defective machinery and equipment and install new or repaired components. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and fabrication. Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment documentation. Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems and PLC-controlled equipment. Perform lift truck maintenance and repairs as needed. Clean, lubricate, and maintain bearings, gears, and other mechanical components. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, processes, and operational efficiency. Perform lockout/tagout procedures as an authorized associate during non-routine or major repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety requirements. Work collaboratively with other maintenance and production team members. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related skilled trade. Experience working in a large industrial manufacturing facility preferred. Steel industry experience is highly valued. Strong electrical troubleshooting experience preferred. Experience with industrial equipment installation, maintenance, and repair. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, and management teams. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Willingness to learn new equipment and expand technical knowledge. Ability to provide and maintain your own standard maintenance tools and toolbox, including wrenches up to 1". Experience That Will Make You Stand Out 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience Electrical troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems AC/DC electrical systems PLC troubleshooting Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication Lift truck maintenance and repair Flat-rolled steel processing equipment, such as slitters and cut-to-length lines Experience troubleshooting production machinery Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience with MS Office and Windows-based applications Physical Requirements & Work Environment This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position within a manufacturing/steel processing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around industrial machinery and in varying temperatures. Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk, climb, bend, reach, and work around machinery for extended periods. Ability to mount and dismount industrial equipment. Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions depending on the season and work area. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and OSHA requirements.
