$23.25/hour, based on experience Willing to train the right candidate Position Summary Our client is seeking a reliable Industrial Mechanic to join their team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting foundry tooling, generally involving 2-piece core/cavity molds and ejection pins. Training will be provided on foundry and other specific equipment. Primary Responsibilities Set up molds and related equipment for production, usually involving replacing worn ejection pins, drilling out clogged vents, and testing ejection function. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including: Bearings and bushings Hydraulic lines Fasteners such as bolts Replace worn or damaged components as needed. Use hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively, including drills, grinders, and torches. Inspect equipment to identify issues and help prevent downtime. Follow all plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout guidelines. Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be over 18 at the time of hire. Skills & Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with hand tools, drills, grinders, and torches. Ability to perform maintenance on industrial equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently. Experience Requirements A mechanically inclined individual will excel in this position.
