Job Summary:

Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, is responsible for the maintenance of all facility equipment and machinery (general, electrical and refrigeration), as well as plant construction.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for maintaining equipment in the plant. 2. Maintenance of forklifts, trucks, pneumatics, and hydraulics. 3. Train on machines in all departments. 4. Required to rotate to other positions as directed by maintenance supervisor. 5. Required to serve on the Plant's Emergency Response Team and may require participation on the Hazmat Team. 6. Responsible for maintaining and servicing of an Industrial Refrigeration System. 7. Performs such other duties as may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Demonstrated ability to work well with others. 2. Self motivated; ability to function without continuous supervision. 3. Ability to lift and properly move at least 100 lbs. 4. Ability to exercise good judgment. 5. Ability to work safely and report safety hazards. 6. Must have good knowledge of welding, plumbing, mechanics, carpentry, and electrical. 7. Must have good knowledge of boiler operations.

Qualifications:

1. Able to acquire an MFC Forklift Certification. 2. Prior experience in maintenance field. 3. Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach. 4. Available to work weekend shifts, if needed.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$24.00 - $24.50 per hour
