Manager may make an offer directly from the resume due to the urgent need. About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Fabrication Associate to join a busy industrial manufacturing environment. You'll work with steel pipe, fabrication equipment, and shop tools while supporting cutting, threading, measuring, assembling, and preparing pipe orders for shipment. This is a great opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in industrial manufacturing, mechanical work, machinery operation, automotive, diesel, farm equipment, or maintenance . What You'll Do Move loose and bundled pipe throughout the shop and yard. Assemble and organize pipe orders. Operate and maintain pipe fabrication machinery. Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches. Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines. Perform quality checks using tape measures and gauges. Measure, record, and calculate pipe lengths accurately. Follow OSHA and company safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with forklift and material-handling activities.

What We're Looking For Required:

6-8 months of recent experience operating machinery such as: Band saws Automatic welding machines Pipe threaders Roll groove machines Plasma cutters Pneumatic banders 6-8 months of mechanical experience. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Ability to use gauges for quality checks. Comfortable working in a hot, non-air-conditioned environment. Strong work ethic and reliable work history.

Preferred:

Fire sprinkler pipe fabrication experience. Auto mechanic or diesel mechanic experience. Machinery maintenance experience. Automotive manufacturing/production experience. Farm equipment experience. Experience with shop tools and industrial machinery.
