$20 to $25 per hour Position Overview SEEK Careers/Staffing is currently hiring Assembly Specialists for a leading manufacturer of high-quality refrigeration products in Hudson, Wisconsin. This company manufactures products used by major organizations across a variety of industries. As an Assembly Specialist, you will assemble and prepare refrigeration components while reading blueprints and assembly instructions, taking measurements, using hand and power tools, and performing quality inspections. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to work with a variety of components and small parts. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions. Measure distances for proper placement of components within subassemblies. Use hand and power tools to drill holes and perform other modifications. Assemble walk-in sections for foaming, including sections containing wood pieces, special locks and strikes, cut-outs, ramps, and other components. Remove excess foam from completed sections. Determine appropriate labels based on blueprints and assembly instructions, including safety/quality labels and serial numbers, and apply them to completed sections. Clean foreign material from rails and pallets. Inspect component parts for defects and report issues to the supervisor. Qualifications Basic math skills, including the ability to work with fractions. Ability to accurately manipulate and interpret a tape measure. Ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Proficiency with small hand and power tools. Ability to understand and follow work instructions and workplace policies. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate professionally and productively with coworkers and supervisors. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a semi-frequent basis. Ability to grasp and manipulate small parts and hand tools. Ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential production issues.
