Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll assemble and install mechanical components using a variety of hand, power, and air tools. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you can perform the work with accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using standard tools. Verify proper fit and secure all components. Identify missing parts and communicate inventory needs to the supervisor. Perform inspections and quality checks, rejecting any defective materials. Report issues such as defects or errors to the supervisor promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Adhere to all company safety protocols and quality standards. Fill in for co-workers and rotate between departments as needed. Demonstrate consistent and dependable attendance. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent OR at least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related trade. Comfortable using hand, power, and air tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Clear communication skills in English. Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to Sophia, WV.
