Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your hands-on expertise will keep everything running smoothly, from landscaping and lawn care to building maintenance and snow plowing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your diverse skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall upkeep and beautification of our properties. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, pruning, and gardening to maintain vibrant outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks. Conduct lawn care activities such as edging, aerating, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth. Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through repairs and cleaning. Execute snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access pathways and parking areas. Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, repair, and seasonal adjustments to optimize water efficiency. Support tree care activities including planting, trimming, removal, and hazard assessment to promote healthy growth and safety. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and construction equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various maintenance tasks. Knowledge of horticulture principles related to gardening, landscape maintenance, and plant health. Ability to perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating with precision. Experience with snow plowing equipment and techniques for winter weather conditions. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Understanding of hardscape construction including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Ability to perform tree trimming and tree care safely while following industry standards.
