PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns. Weeding and mulching landscape beds. Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs. Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees. Planting shrubs, flowers and trees. Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes. Monitoring and maintaining plant health. Completes assigned work orders and return all paperwork to Supervisor. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor. The duties listed are not set forth for the purposes of limiting the assignment of work. They are not to be construed as a complete list of the many duties normally to be performed under a position title or those to be assigned and performed temporarily outside of an employee's normal line of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years of experience in lawn maintenance.

Education:

High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position. Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

SCHEDULED HOURS
