Operations Technician

Job Description

Summary The Operations Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair throughout Copper Mountain Resort for the Village at Copper (VAC) & Copper Mountain Resort Association (CMRA). This includes maintenance, painting, landscaping, trash removal, snow removal, sweeping, and any functions that involve the maintenance of the three Villages. This also includes preventive maintenance on all vehicles, outdoor lighting, gas fireplaces and gas burners, kiosks, and benches. This key position requires an engaging, positive, solution-orientated, customer-centric individual who is a self-starter that can multi-task and prioritize easily. This position also requires someone who can work as an effective and integral member of a team with a positive outlook and always looks for solutions instead of identifying problems.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay range is $20-25/hr depending on experience - Benefits include Copper Mountain Season pass (Winter and Summer), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k + Match, HSA and Wellness Essential Duties and Responsibilities ○ Sweeping, maintenance, painting, trash removal, and landscaping ○ Remove snow from streets, sidewalks, and walkways ○ Check outdoor lighting and repair as needed ○ Assist with maintenance of VAC activities (go karts, bumper boats, ice skating) ○ Repair VAC amenities including benches, signs, kiosks, and trash receptacles ○ Maintain lawns and gardens ○ Complete safety training sessions when required ○ Report any snowmelt issues to the Operations Manager ○ Multitask and complete all responsibilities in a timely manner General Responsibilities and Duties Must be able to work 40+ hours per week Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed Maintain high standard of customer service and member satisfaction according to company goals Continue education and take specialized trainings to maximize job efficiency and potential Other Duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or higher 2+ years of previous experience in related field Relevant certificate may be required Drivers license with clean driving record Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment including but not limited to mowers, chain saws, skid steers, bobcats, etc. Highly adaptive and must be a resourceful individual Strong time management and ability to multi-task and complete projects Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

From $20.00 per hour
