Job Description

Gary Smith Ford is a family-owned and operated car dealership seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker . We are looking for a reliable and dependable candidate who will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the buildings and grounds of the dealership.

Maintenance Worker Job Duties and Responsibilities:

General building repair Repair items such as doors, walls, sprinkler system Painting and touch-up work General plumbing duties Groundskeeping such as trim hedges, bushes, weeding, clean up trash and debris around the lot and buildings Change light bulbs and general electrical repair Repair of AC and heating units General janitorial duties including but not limited to taking out trash, sweeping, etc. Work on hydraulic lifts and hoists in the service area Other duties as assigned

Maintenance Worker Requirements:

Previous maintenance experience preferred Must be a self-starter with excellent time-management skills Excellent communication skills Must be able to operate various pieces of equipment and hand tools Heavy lifting will be required Must know how to safely operate a motor vehicle Required to pass pre-employment drug testing and have an acceptable MVR record

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
