Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and landscaping skills to maintain grounds, gardens, and hardscape features. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, landscape upkeep, and operating grounds maintenance equipment to create inviting and well-maintained environments. If you thrive in outdoor settings and have a passion for grounds care and maintenance, this role is perfect for you! Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and gardening to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems,aand hardscape tools safely and efficiently Ability to use basic hand and power tools Ability to preform routine repairs and preventive maintenance Ability to inspect apartments/buildings and identify maintenace problems Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Qualifications Valid driver's license Background check and drug screening Proven experience in outdoor work environments with knowledge of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture practices Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment Familiarity with plant identification, pest management (including pesticide application), and tree care techniques Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work and equipment operation Prior experience with hardscape maintenance such as installing or repairing pathways or retaining walls is a plus Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues early and address them effectivelyThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the beauty and safety of outdoor spaces while developing your skills in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance.
