The Facilities Worker II will primarily serve the Hazard Campus, Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Review of applications will begin September 1, 2026.
Job Duties:
Duties to include, but not be limited to: Groundskeeping to include grass cutting and weeding. Custodial to include cleaning of offices, bathrooms, classrooms, windows, floors, etc. Light maintenance to include minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry. Event set up and tear down. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School degree plus one year related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with all types of groundskeeping machinery is preferred.
Additional Skills Requested:
This position will be required to lift and transport heavy objects. Applicants must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. This position will be required to operate groundskeeping equipment. Applicant will be expected to work outdoors to complete groundskeeping tasks.
