6248 Beaver Road - Union, KY 41005 Hybrid - 3 days / week in office A Planner I supports the work management process by performing required activities such as developing schedules and plans that facilitate barrier free work execution, supporting daily/weekly operation/maintenance activities, providing the necessary supply of resources for the sites and facilitating process improvements to make work plans safer, more productive and cost competitive. They perform core work management activities such as developing weekly schedules, creating job plans, determining proper GL accounting for work orders, creating purchase requests, managing repair processes, and completing single/sole source justification requests as needed. Direction on work planning and scheduling is obtained from historical site experience and the site management leads. The Planner I will primarily be tasked with the following at our Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky locations: Primary office location will be Cincinnati area - East Bend generating station. Ensuring Purchase Orders are issued for all field work in progress or planned. Ensuring all Preventative Maintenance (PM) work is scheduled and completed on time. Ensuring follow up and backlog management of all PMs and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work by priority and site. Resource alignment and coordination of work tasks (where applicable) to minimize contractor mobilization charges and re-work. Ensures monthly accruals are processed for the Midwest CCP region in accordance with Finance requirements. > 50k per month received service (material / labor) must be accrued if not invoiced. Develop and distribute weekly schedule for the Midwest CCP site activities using ARO Routine or O&M accounting. Support CCP Project Teams in developing and completing PMs/CMs assigned to those teams. Lead Bid events for minor or large PO's / service agreements for CCP LHP, Routine Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance as applicable. Basic understanding of system accounting and reporting to support Rate Case inquiries and data requests. Lead and provide oversight to contractors performing work on CCP assets at any Midwest location as directed. This would be on a limited, as needed basis. The Planner I also coordinates/communicates during the preparation and execution phase of work, monitors/tracks progress of activities, prepares reports, and ensures lessons learned are captured, evaluated and incorporated in support of continuous improvement. May also be responsible for directing, coordinating, and reviewing activities of internal staff or contractors to ensure safe, accurate, and timely completion of tasks, projects, or duties. This is accomplished with minimal supervision. In time, incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and work with greater independence. Examples of additional and aligned roles / responsibilities are: Maintenance Coordination - ensures work priorities are established and adhered to for Maintenance functions and activities. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the work management procedures and the maintenance protocols. Monitors the overall site and advises the Site leadership accordingly. Provides Work Management, Sourcing and business reporting in compliance with CCP/•procedures. Contract Resource Coordination - Provides leadership (coordination, direction, quality assurance, etc.) for work activities performed by supplemental and variable contract resources. This includes providing field oversight and job coordination for supplemental resources while at the facility. Responsible for clearing barriers and addressing barriers in the workplace for activities performed by supplemental resources. Responsible for committing to the work plans, executing the plans and schedules, safety, productivity and quality. Planning - Responsible for developing plans that facilitate work execution. Expected to develop plans that are barrier free, including verifying that materials and resources are available to execute work plans. Facilitate process improvements to make work plans more productive and cost competitive, communicate regularly with the Supervisors and Equipment Experts/Owners to ensure job plans are up to date and improved and that work is being planned according to the appropriate priorities Additional Job Description Specific Requirements Basic knowledge of power plant operation and the Work Management process Working knowledge of company computer systems/programs that are utilized in the Work Management process Basic scheduling tool knowledge Demonstrated effective time management skills Demonstrated effective skills in problem solving Ability to effectively perform independently with minimal direction Interpersonal skills to effectively work with all BU/company groups Basic ability to lead effective/efficient meetings Good written and oral communication skills Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience and demonstrated computer skills including the ability to use various applications such as Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project), work management system (Maximo), and Power BI Experience and demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information, facilitate meetings and provide direction to others Working knowledge of overall operating fundamentals and principles of generating station systems, equipment and processes Demonstrated ability to work independently in a leadership capacity Demonstrated ability and previous experience in understanding, interpreting, communicating and analyzing financial data At least 5 years of plant operations, maintenance, and/or work management experience Financial and accounting knowledge and skills including ability to analyze data 2 years of experience in contract management 2 years of experience in project management Proficient in Maximo or computer-based Maintenance Management Systems Must be able to read, comprehend, inspect, calculate, count, retain and make sound decisions Working Conditions Performs work in an outdoor civil construction setting or in /near power plants. 80% of work will be in field office environment with 20% travel to sites anticipated. Required to observe work in all areas of our sites which are power plant, industrial environments operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which includes exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and humidity May be required to climb ladders and stairs at various heights; enter vessels or equipment with limited access; walk, stoop, bend or squat Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, use and reach with hands, arms and fingers There is potential exposure to high stress situations and requirement to be available for emergency response as required by the needs of service Will the worker be required to drive a vehicle?: YES_X_____or No_________ Will the worker be required to drive a •vehicle?: YES_______or No___X_____ Relative to the job this contractor will be performing, please answer the below questions: Will this worker be performing any physical labor?
