Local travel between assigned properties required Position Summary Twins Management Group is seeking a dependable, motivated Entry-Level Groundskeeper / Property Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of our properties. This position will primarily provide groundskeeping and light maintenance support at three assigned properties , with occasional assistance needed at other TMG properties in the Kalamazoo and Paw Paw areas . No previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience is required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to excel in the hospitality industry. Primary Responsibilities Maintain clean, attractive, and welcoming exterior grounds at assigned properties. Trim trees, bushes, shrubs, and other landscaping as needed. Pick up litter, debris, branches, and trash throughout parking lots, lawns, sidewalks, entrances, and other exterior areas. Collect and dispose of property trash and assist with trash collection duties. Keep dumpster and trash collection areas clean and orderly. Perform light maintenance and minor repairs both inside and outside of the properties. Assist with general property upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks as directed. Identify maintenance, safety, or appearance concerns and report them to management. Help maintain entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and other guest-facing areas to TMG standards. Safely use and care for basic groundskeeping and maintenance tools and equipment. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other seasonal Michigan weather. Travel between the three primary assigned properties as necessary during the workday. On rare occasions, travel to and assist at additional TMG properties in the Kalamazoo and Paw Paw areas. Work cooperatively and respectfully as part of a diverse hospitality and maintenance team. Perform other reasonable groundskeeping, maintenance, and property-support duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements No previous experience required — we are willing to train the right person. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties. Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled locations on time. Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Ability and willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Willingness to perform physical work throughout the workday. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping properties clean and well maintained. Positive, professional attitude when interacting with coworkers, management, hotel employees, vendors, and guests. Must be willing to learn new skills and accept coaching and direction. Must be able to work effectively with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity. Employees must be able to perform duties that may include: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and kneeling. Using landscaping and basic maintenance tools. Lifting, carrying, and moving supplies, trash, branches, equipment, and other materials associated with groundskeeping and light property maintenance. Pay:
