Overview Key Duties and Responsibilities We are looking for a reliable Vegetation Room Assistant to work directly with the Nursery Manager to implement strategies within the nursery that will maximize efficiency and involve continuous improvement to harvest batch rotation, maintenance, and employee's growth. Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment. Communication with Nursery Manager. Maintain and clean all equipment (Clean, prep, or replace items for future use, ie: irrigation components, fans, tools, etc). Keep A clean work environment (tables, floor, etc). Pruning plants for different phases. Collection and disposal of waste. Proper data collection and input. Collect waste throughout building and take out to dumpster. Clean/organize wash and tool area of garage. Communication with the other departments throughout the facility and assist when needed. Participate in a company function outside of regular work schedule. Required skills Required Skills and Competencies 21+ years old Transportation Attention to detail Able to work Monday - Friday from 11:30am-8:00pm CST (half hour lunch break included in timeframe, unpaid) High School Diploma or GED Prior cultivation experience is a bonus Preferred seniority
