Full Job Description Part-Time Maintenance & Handyman Assistant Pay:
$20/hour
Hours:
Approximately 16 hours per week, flexible schedule, with potential for additional hours
Schedule:
Flexible We are looking for a reliable, handy, and detail-oriented person to help with ongoing maintenance, improvements, and small projects at our business in West Bloomfield. There may also be opportunities for additional hours helping with projects at a residential property.
Projects may include:
Painting rooms, walls, doors, and trim
Patching drywall, nail holes, and minor wall damage
Installing and finishing trim/baseboards
Hanging cabinets and shelving
Hanging pictures, mirrors, décor, and other wall-mounted items
Assembling and installing furniture or fixtures
Touch-up work throughout the building
Minor repairs and general maintenance
Helping with miscellaneous improvement projects as they come up We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes pride in their work, and can handle a variety of small projects.
You don't need to be a licensed contractor, but previous handyman, maintenance, remodeling, painting, or construction experience is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and basic knowledge of tools. Having your own basic tools is a plus. Starting pay is approximately $20/hour for around 16 hours per week. Additional hours may be available depending on current projects. This could be a great fit for someone looking for consistent part-time work with a flexible schedule and a variety of projects rather than doing the same thing every day.
