Job Description

Deadline:

Open until filled. First consideration given to applications received by September 28, 2026. The City of Shoreview is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Duties Include:

Install, construct and maintain parks, parking lots, open spaces and trails.
Perform landscaping and grounds care including planting, mowing, fertilizing, weed control, seeding, irrigation, etc.
Maintain recreational areas such as ball fields, soccer fields, lacrosse fields, park shelters, ice rinks and other recreation facilities.
Remove snow from Community Center, Library, School District offices, Fire Stations and park sidewalks, trails and parking lots.

Hours:

Normally, 6:30am

3:00pm with some seasonal adjustments; subject to call back, unscheduled overtime, shift work and weekend duty.

Hiring Wage Range:

$34.30
