Job Summary The City of New Franklin is seeking a dependable, motivated full-time City Services Employee to join our Public Works team. This position is responsible for maintaining the City's streets, water and sewer systems, parks, equipment, and other public infrastructure. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating heavy equipment, and serving your community, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintenance and repair of city streets, alleys, and rights-of-way Water distribution system maintenance, water meter reading, connections, and disconnects Sewer collection system maintenance and repairs Street sign installation and street cleaning Park maintenance and general city property upkeep Maintenance of city vehicles and equipment Responding to water and sewer line breaks Snow removal and emergency response as needed Other duties as assigned Some tasks are physically demanding so ability to lift 75lbs or more, ability to bend, stoop, and stand for multiple hours at a time
