Job Description
Position Summary This is the union position. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical assets, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning optimally. Your role is crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences through prompt, efficient, and courteous service. Key Responsibilities Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests. Fix plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Keep maintenance tools and supplies stocked. Repair walls, doors, lights, and minor room fixtures. Follow safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout). Report hazards, issues, and completed work. Work with other departments as needed. Requirements Bachelor's Degree Is Preferred. 1+ year experience in maintenance or related field. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.) a plus.
