We are looking for a Maintenance person to join our property management team. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as light plumbing and electrical work, painting, and HVAC upkeep. In our industry, there is never a boring day! The ideal responsible candidate will be able to work independently and pay attention to detail. Responsibilities Survey properties and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.) Preventative maintenance on heating, cooling and plumbing systems Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace window mechanism etc.) Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)\ Communicate and coordinate with office team on maintenance status and projects Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed Skills Proven experience as maintenance person Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and other home systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength, able to lift 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record Able to pass background check
