Job Description

The Mohicans Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue, in Glenmont, is seeking maintenance staff. Join our team and be a part of our unique award-winning resort. Visit our website to learn more at https://www.themohicans.net The maintenance staff maintains the resort's lodging units and lawn care year-round. Preferred candidates will have experience in general maintenance of HVAC/electrical/plumbing systems and various groundskeeping duties. This position is part-time and will assist our senior groundskeeper. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards and working on a team is essential. He/she interacts with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remains positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promotes commitment to the organization's vision and values; projects a positive image and serves as a role model for others. Responsibilities

Lawn Maintenance - which may include, but is not limited to, mowing, weeding, watering, which may include, but is not limited to, mowing, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and raking.
Must have a valid driver's license
Plans repair work and troubleshoots issues
General maintenance and various groundskeeping duties.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems
Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the general buildings.
Light carpentry
Maintains all roads, walks, and outdoor lighting to ensure safety
Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills
