Maintenance Worker

Job Description

Kuttler Machine, is a multi-faceted machine shop that serves several different industries has an opening for an experienced full-time maintenance worker.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and leadership.
Duties:
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or potential problems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and customers
  • Basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair as required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Supervisors and outside vendors regarding projects and repair problems.
  • Perform basic work on interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as, lighting/fans and facilities restrooms.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts inventory and equipment history.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects or tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors
Experience:
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
