10-15% About the Role We are seeking an entry-level Shop Helper to support daily shop operations by keeping equipment clean and performing light preventative maintenance. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for someone looking to build a career in equipment maintenance and mechanics. Responsibilities Wash and clean equipment, machinery, and tools to maintain shop and fleet standards Assist with light preventative maintenance, including oil changes and greasing of equipment Inspect equipment for visible wear, leaks, or damage and report issues to shop supervisor Assist mechanics and technicians with maintenance tasks as needed Janitorial duties to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Properly handle and dispose of fluids, oils, and other materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines Load, unload, and organize parts, tools, and supplies Pick up and deliver parts, and assist with parts procurement Travel to job sites as needed to support equipment servicing (10-15% of the time) Assist field crews with additional manual labor tasks as needed Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times Qualifications OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required No prior experience necessary; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment maintenance a plus Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, including occasional early mornings or extended hours Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time Valid driver's license in good standing Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Ability to work around equipment, machinery, and shop chemicals safely

$18-$20 per hour, based on experience
