Ensure all equipment in the facility is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently daily. This role requires proficiency in Preventive Maintenance tasks and skills in Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Mechanical systems. Must be able to safely operate forklifts while following Versatex's Best Practices and SOPs.
Qualification Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Mathematical Skills:
Basic arithmetic proficiency.
Communication Skills:
Clear written and verbal communication.
Attendance:
Excellent attendance record during probation.
Training:
Completion of the Maintenance Training Program.
Forklift Certification:
Must pass the Versatex Forklift Training Program.
Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency for logging and ordering parts.
Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with lockout/tagout protocols.
Experience:
2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years in industrial maintenance. Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, plant, and machine maintenance. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Mandatory 480V electrical experience.
Equipment Proficiency:
Familiarity with forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts (in-house training provided).
Flexibility:
Willing to work flexible shifts and overtime.
Industry Background:
Experience in manufacturing and industrial maintenance is ideal.
