Monday-Friday (with occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
Pay:
$25-$27 per hour (based on experience) Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance / Facilities Worker to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver with experience performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep while ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities. Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility and surrounding grounds. Operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely. Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects. Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Assist with facility improvements, office moves, and special projects as needed. Remove snow, mow grass, and perform seasonal exterior maintenance (if applicable). Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Excellent attendance and reliability. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and work in confined spaces. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
