In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our facilities, enhance operational efficiency, and promote a positive experience for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced setting that values safety and quality. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior features to ensure optimal operation. Utilize hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and facilities infrastructure. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general building interior maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using maintenance management systems (MRO), including work orders, schematics, and inspection logs. Assist with the installation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical components as needed for facility upgrades or repairs. Support the maintenance of facilities equipment by replacing parts, repairing electrical systems with tools like ohmmeters and multimeters, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants while providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction. Must have valid driver's license, insured vehicle and own tools. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and HVAC system troubleshooting. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for electrical equipment repair. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and carpentry projects within commercial or residential environments. Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques and building interior upkeep standards. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively.
