Job Description

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm $19.87 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, maintenance, and equipment upkeep. Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance tasks. Operate hand tools, power tools, and simple maintenance equipment safely. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with moving materials, equipment, and supplies as needed. Support maintenance projects and special assignments as directed. Work flexible shifts and overtime when required. Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Some experience with basic electrical work and general facility maintenance. Experience operating forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and scissor lifts. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate various maintenance equipment and powered industrial vehicles. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
