Early, TX About the Role Comfort Inn is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance professional to ensure our property remains in top-tier condition for every guest who walks through our doors. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility operations, responsible for preserving the physical integrity of the hotel and surrounding grounds. Key Responsibilities The primary focus of this position involves performing a wide variety of routine and emergency repairs to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. You will spend your day managing the general upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, which includes basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Beyond reactive repairs, you will a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations. You are also expected to maintain the exterior aesthetics of the property, monitor pool chemistry, and ensure all HVAC systems are functioning efficiently. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the housekeeping and front desk departments to prioritize work orders and minimize any disruption to the guest stay. Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a versatile mechanical aptitude and a foundational understanding of building systems, such as lighting, climate control, and water distribution. We require a reliable professional who can manage their time effectively and work independently without constant supervision. Physical stamina is essential, as the role requires standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy equipment or materials.
