Pecos Job Title Maintenance Scheduling Assistant - Contractor & CMMS Coordinator Corporate Summary Salt Creek Midstream (SCM) is a greenfield midstream company built to provide a full suite of midstream services and downstream solutions to producers in the Delaware Basin. SCM leverages fundamental and intra-basin knowledge to optimize the value of producer resources, reduce bottlenecks and deliver higher netbacks to the producer. Position Summary The Maintenance Scheduling assistant - Contractor & CMMS Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance activities using the companys CMMS and other mechanical integrity MI recordkeeping systems. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, improving throughput, and supporting a strong safety and mechanical integrity culture across midstream facilities in the Delaware Basin. The position also manages PO/WO requisitions and coordinates third-party contractors that support facility maintenance and regulatory compliance (including LDAR, valve maintenance, and PSV testing). Key Responsibilities Develop, set up, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance plans in the CMMS and other maintenance software systems. Build and maintain PM plans for all equipment, including frequency, tasks, materials, and resource requirements. Review and manage CMMS notifications by collaborating with operations, converting notifications into work orders as appropriate. Create material and service requisitions to support operations maintenance needs, including coordination with inventory and supply chain. Administer and track PO/WO requisitions for maintenance work, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and supporting documentation. Coordinate with operations to validate job priority and equipment availability, and publish a clear schedule of upcoming and planned work. Plan, schedule, and oversee third-party maintenance and compliance contractors (e.g., LDAR, valve maintenance, PSV testing), including scope definition and site access coordination. Monitor contractor performance against scope, schedule, and budget expectations and ensure all test reports, certifications, and records are captured and filed in company systems. Install and troubleshoot the CMMS mobile application for field and operations personnel as needed. Train operations staff on proper CMMS usage for requesting, executing, and closing work orders to ensure accurate maintenance history. Provide regular updates to management on PM status, backlog, and key trends impacting reliability and throughput. Maintain accurate, up-to-date maintenance status within the CMMS and related tracking tools. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum 5 years of midstream industry experience with demonstrated technical knowledge of Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) systems and rotating equipment in process facilitys and compressor station environments. Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, CMMS usage, work order management, and coordination of third-party maintenance contractors (e.g., LDAR, valve maintenance, PSV testing) preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to create, manage, and analyze maintenance-related documentation and reports.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment. The Ability to Read and understand P&IDs Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with operations, contractors, and management. Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills. Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays, as business needs require. Work Location and Schedule Primary work location: Delaware Basin (field-based with regular time at operating facilities).
